It’s time to start the schematics for the death star project.
For that I used the open source software Fritzing to create a first breadboard design with the main components to start the firmware development. You’ll find:
- The Spark Core (as central element)
- IC L293 (as motor driver)
- A motor (to open/close the death star)
- Two reed relays (to detect the open/close state of the star)
- An IR led to control the RGB bulb
Currently missing:
- Motion detection
Power supply will be done via the RGB bulb as mentioned here.
